As a general standard in Indian brackish water farming, you require 1 HP of aeration per 350-400 kg expected shrimp biomass, or approximately 1 unit of a 2HP (4-Impeller) aerator per 1 to 1.5 acres in semi-intensive stocking (30-40 PL/m²).
